I am honored to work with writers and directors to help a story achieve its full potential as well as help writers grow as writers. Hollywood script readers are often overworked, inexperienced students still in school and working for free, their notes fail to provide actual analytical feedback a writer needs to incorporate into rewrites.
I provide helpful, objective and encouraging notes on character arcs, dialogue, plot, theme, voice, world-building, which are all key elements in getting a script that is ready to go out into the world, whether it is going to an agent or producer or needs to be production-ready.
Having worked in the entertainment industry for two decades in LA and NYC, I have had the opportunity to work as both a hire and in-house creative producer, a mentor, dramaturg for many years on award-winning projects and help craft stories and bring those to life. My well-rounded experience as both a professional producer and writer has given me insight to how executives think, how productions get made, and how that applies to writers fine-tuning scripts to be pitch perfect.
